Appointment on 25 and 26 May at Schloss Freudenstein, Eppan (BZ) – over 120 companies, master classes and a calendar of top appointments in the elegant South Tyrolean setting.

Yesterday at the Park Hyatt in Milan, the official press conference was held for VINALTUM, an event dedicated to Italian and international wine excellence, scheduled for 25 and 26 May 2025 in the evocative setting of Schloss Freudenstein, in San Michele Appiano.
Now in its second edition, the project, devised by Danilo D’Ambra and Luciano Rappo, with the collaboration of Pietro Cormaci (Brand Ambassador), is being strengthened by focusing on growing numbers and increasingly qualifying content: more than 120 participating wineries from all Italian regions and some foreign countries, themed masterclasses led by FISAR producers and sommeliers, exclusive moments of wine tasting and narration of wine as culture and identity.
‘We are thrilled to present this second edition,’ says Danilo D’Ambra, “in a location that combines history and beauty, offering an ideal context for an event that aims to be a reference point for those seeking authenticity, quality and discovery.
One of the most eagerly awaited moments will be the masterclasses, conceived as itineraries guided by producers, oenologists, sommeliers, and sector professionals. ‘The masterclasses represent the narrative heart of our project,’ comments Luciano Rappo, “and recount with rigour and passion the great richness of our wine heritage, both Italian and foreign, through reasoned tastings, in-depth technical analysis, and direct confrontation with the Producers themselves.
This year sees the debut of “Calice Maestro”, the initiative designed for the under-35s. The project will offer young people a free training experience, with guided tastings in small groups by FISAR sommeliers: an opportunity to approach the world of wine with curiosity and awareness.
The event will take place over two days: Sunday 25 May open to the public and Monday 26 May reserved for sector operators. At the end, the traditional ‘Big Bottle Party’, a moment of conviviality dedicated to the tasting of large formats, a symbol of sharing and celebration.
